20 MARCH 2020

The Board of Directors again met earlier in the week to discuss, amongst other matters, ongoing member concerns regarding greens closures and the Commonwealth government’s unexpected shutdown of all Clubs, Pubs, Restaurants and Cafes.

Given everything that has occurred during the past few days, including updated government requirements in relation to the cessation of outdoor sports and their ongoing recommendation that Australians, where possible stay home, the Club has shut down most Club operations and closed the greens to all play.

Taking the government’s advice that home delivery and takeaway services can remain open, we have worked with our partners, JC’s Pizza and we are happy to confirm that from Wednesday 25 March 2020, they will be open and they are waiting for your take away and home delivery orders. During this period there will be no access to the main club premises and all orders can be placed and collected from their outdoor service area.

We ask that all members and others in the community continue to support JC’s Pizza during these uncertain times.

We continue to remind everyone to follow all government advice in relation to social distancing and ensure they practice good personal hygiene.

All community clubs, particularly bowling clubs, are going through uncertain times as we manage the effects imposed on us by the COVID-19 situation.

The Club will continue to closely monitor ongoing government advice and keep our members and the community updated over the coming months as things change.

The Board, management and staff thank you for your ongoing understanding and support.
